What it is

A wireless assessment is a structured review of an existing wireless environment. It combines on-site RF measurements with a controller and configuration review to produce an accurate picture of the current state.

The engagement is engineering-led and vendor-independent. Findings are prioritized by operational and business impact rather than product recommendations.

Assessments are commonly used before a refresh, after mergers or acquisitions, ahead of new applications like voice or RTLS, or when the wireless environment has drifted from its original design.
